Simon Avey

Simon Avey spent almost 4 weeks in the hospital. Click HERE for a recap of the beginning of this journey. Then skim over the rest of the posts and see how God has blessed Simon. This blog is for family and friends who have been praying faithfully for Simon.

Simon is Home!

"From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise..." (Psalm 8:2a)

Simon just arrived home! We can only thank God for getting us this far. May Simon's very existence glorify Him!

Thanks so much for praying. But please continue to pray for Simon's protection and for daily wisdom for us.

Tom

"Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him, yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his miracles. Exult in his holy name!" (Ps 105:1-3)

I'm sure there's much singing in the Avey house...and we're praising God with you for saving Simon's very life. Now we pray for your continued endurance as you adjust to caring for Simon. The Father's saying; "Trust me....just trust me."

Much love; many prayers,

There is much singing and praising God in the Shipley family (Pop and Grammy, Uncle Adam and Aunt Jessica, Uncle Andrew and Uncle Nate)and at the Ft. Myers, FL GBC (Pastor Steve) and Data2Logistics (Hally's workplace).

How thankful we are for each one's continued prayer and heartfelt care for Simon and our dear daughter and great son-in-law( alias SUPER DAD)and precious Tobi and Trey.

Someone said after Simon came home, "Your grandchildren are remarkable."

Simon has a 2 year old cousin Katie that the Lord has brought through so much also.

I said "No, the Lord is faithful and His people are faithful prayer warriors on their behalf."

Let Him be praised and His purposes accomplished.

Blessed be the Name of the Lord!

We love you all and thank Him for you.

Love and hugs and prayers,

Hally Shipley for the family
